Privacy Policy

In short: this website has no accounts, no logins, no advertising and no analytics tracking. It sets no cookies of its own. The only information we hold about you is what you choose to send us when you ask about a product.

1. Who we are

2. What this website collects on its own

Nothing that identifies you. The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no advertising or tracking scripts. There is no account to create, no login, and no newsletter sign-up.

As with any website, the provider that hosts our pages keeps ordinary technical server logs — IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and the browser used — for security and reliability. Those logs sit with the hosting provider under its own retention policy, and we do not use them to identify or profile visitors.

3. The enquiry form

The form on our Contact page does not send anything to a server of ours, because this website has no back end. When you press Send on WhatsApp, your browser opens WhatsApp — or your email app, if you choose that instead — with a message already filled in from what you typed. Nothing leaves your device until you press send inside that app. If you never send it, we never receive it.

4. Your enquiry list

On our product pages you can add product lines to an enquiry list. That list is saved only in your own browser’s local storage, on your own device. It is never transmitted to us and we cannot read it. Clearing the list, or clearing your browser data, removes it completely.

5. Information you send us

When you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email — or hand us a BOQ, drawing or specification — we receive whatever you chose to include. Usually that is your name, phone number, email address, company or project name, and the details of what you need.

We use it to reply to your enquiry and prepare a quotation; to supply, deliver and invoice the goods you order; and to keep the ordinary business and tax records that Nepali law requires us to keep. We do not use your details for marketing unrelated to your enquiry, and we do not sell, rent or trade them to anyone.

6. Who else may see it

Messages you send us over WhatsApp travel through WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta under its own privacy policy. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, call or email us instead.

The map on our Contact page does not load until you tap it. Once you do, Google receives that request and applies its own privacy policy. If you never tap the map, nothing is sent to Google.

Beyond that, your details reach only the hosting provider that serves these pages; the suppliers, manufacturers, transporters and customs agents who need a specific detail such as a delivery address in order to fulfil your order; and government authorities where the law requires it.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become orders are kept only as long as they remain commercially useful, and are then deleted. Records relating to actual sales are kept for as long as Nepali company and tax law requires.

8. Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email kediawaterhouse@gmail.com or call +977 9852033007 and we will respond within a reasonable period. Where a record has to be kept for legal or tax reasons, we will tell you so.

9. Children

This website serves trade, project and commercial buyers. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

10. Security

These pages are served over HTTPS. Anything you send by WhatsApp or email is protected by those services’ own security. No method of transmission is completely secure, so please do not send bank details, passwords or identity-document numbers through this website, WhatsApp or email.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
